I have Oticon Hearing aids and TWO TV adaptors for TWO TVs. Currently, I have to pair the hearing aids to the Adaptor connected to the TV I’m watching.
But when I look at my iPhone, I have ability to Select ‘General’ use or ‘TV Box1’. Why doesn’t Oticon give me the option to have a Choice of TV Box 1 and/or TV Box 2???
(I DO have more TVs and COULD attach a TV Adaptor to the others as well.) But, I’ll be happy if I can select General, TV Box 1 and TV Box 2 to listen for, at least those two TVs!! Change the programming of the Oticon Hearing Aids for more than one TV!! Thanks in advance!
Are you use the ON app, it give you the option of choosing the TV adapter you need.
??? Not sure what ur referencing with ON app. Currently lay aids on TV adaptor and then open and close battery compartments. It works; but, … wish I could just choose to listen to second TV Box!!

do you have the Oticon ON app on your iPhone. I have 2 TV adapters. One in the living room and one in my office/man cave. When I enable the TV adapter on my iPhone Oticon App and both TV’s are on I can choose which adapter I want. Now this also depends on your aids, they must be the OPN aids with the latest firmware, or the OPNS aids, or the newer More aids. I have the OPNS1 aids and I do not have to pair each time I want to use one of my TV adapters. As long as I use the iPhone Oticon app to select the adapter I want to use. Also there can be an issue with how close the TV adapters are to each other.
Yes I DO have the Oticon App on my iphone, but have only those two choices to select. General, P1 and TV Box1. (I just now opened it and confirmed those two choices.)
I have General(P1), P2, Tinnitus, and TV, then on the TV tab I have the capacity to select which TV adapter I need to use. Which hearing aids do you have, and also do you have the latest firmware, and the latest Oticon app.

Hearing aids are Oticon Opn1. Saw Firmware somewhere was Ver 5.0.
That is you problem you aids needs the firmware updated. The latest for your aids is either 6.0 or 6.1.
Your Audi has to update the aids in the office, it cannot be done remotely

Could I jump in with a stupid question? What exactly are TV Adapters for? Is it to allow listening to a TV so other people in the room can’t hear it?
My husband and I watch TV together. With my HAs, we’re hearing pretty much the same thing. What would Adapters do for me?
No it allows me to hear the TV at a level I can understand and my wife to hear the TV at her comfortable hearing level too.

TV adapters are devices that communicate the TV sound into wireless sound in your aids.
Ah-ha. So if your wife’s hearing is baseline ‘normal’, does that mean that your HAs don’t get you to that level? Or does it have something to do with word recognition? Or is it a matter of allowing personal preference on TV volume to sustain marital harmony?
So in my case, since I can hear and understand the TV, I’m guessing the difference would be that I would get that wonderful clear “in my head” sound that I get from streaming phone calls and audiobooks through my iPhone.
Yes, for most, superb sound.

It is the type of hearing loss I have, my word recognition is poor even with aids.
