Oticon Opn BT interface

Can someone confirm that the OPN’s can be programmed with the flexconnect cables that one would use for the Agil/Nera, along with the hi-pro and Genie 2?

Genie2/Client/Family/Opn 1/Cable Overview

A flexconnect is a flexconnect except don’t mistake it for a mini flexconnnect with the little tiny neck used for Alta ITC ITE. Here’s a picture of both side by side. >>thin neck<<.

All Hi Pros/mini Pros work the same as far as programming goes. There are differences in speed and differences in connectivity (Serial/USB).

Thank you!

I apologise for necrobumping a thread, however it appears to be directly relevant.

I bought the Fitting Link 3.0 (I know the disadvantages of doing so, but 1) my manual dexterity and 2) difficulties and extra expense of acquiring the cables, flexstrips and HiPro separately in the UK confined to make this the best option for me, though I may regret it anon.) I thought I’d take high resolution photos of it so that the numbers on it can be read.

The model name and much of the FCC ID lookups make clear that it is indeed a Sennheiser BTD 800 USB dongle, which is one of the ones they use with wireless headphones, though one of the IDs suggests a sub-version or something.

I have no idea if the apparently minor difference between the headphone version and the Fitting link version is in the hardware, firmware, or even just “ID” (for automated driver installation). But the similarity makes me wonder if it is possible to make the headphone version of the dongle work as a fitting link, by e.g. turning off driver signing and forcing it to use the Fitting link driver…

You ever find firmware for fittinglink for the Sennheisser BTD800
