Oticon ON app with Android phone

Does anybody think Oticon will ever fix the app so it will work properly with Android phone or no?

My friends teenage son has Android and Xceed Aids. He’s determined not to get an iPhone.

He couldn’t use the On but can the Companion App.

What’s the problem? I had no problem with my Android phone and a More 1. It’s a limited app, but what’s there worked. Or does it have greater iPhone functionality?

Using the TV streaming device and the More 1 aids connected to the phone anytime the phone get a notification from an app the aids loose connection with TV signal. Also aids unpair randomly.

Didn’t they replace it with Oticon Companion?

The only thing the champion did was combine the On with remote fitting.

Maybe put the phone in airplane mode, and enable bluetooth while streaming.
I don’t use the streamer, but the ON app has been very stable on my Pixel 5a.

No, the ON app is still available.
Oticon is still working with Companion.
I’ve been in contact with their app support:

Dear Barry,

Thank you for getting back to us and sharing these details.

The notification ‘widget’ for Android devices that you shared a screenshot of is not yet available in the Companion app. We are still building and adding new functions to the Companion app. I In the meantime you can keep using Oticon ON if you find the functionality of this app more useful.

I will be happy to get back to you when this feature has been added to Oticon Companion if you’d like?
