I have just started using the Oticon On app.
I’ve noticed, that since then, I lose about a day of my battery life. I wear Oticon Xceeds.
Does anyone know if this is normal ?
I’m curious as to just how much these things reduce your battery life.
My husband has just started wearing Oticon Real Rite rechargeables.
We also just purchased Google Pixel 7 phones so he can stream phone calls and television.
I’m wondering how long his battery will last before he needs to recharge them.

No, not normal, but there is a fix:
On Your Pixel 7:
Go to Settings>Apps>Oticon ON>App> Battery Usage.
If set to Unrestricted, that’s your problem!
I have a Pixel 5a, and mine is set to Optimized.
No battery issues.
Also, in the On App itself, Home>Settings> deselect Anonymous Data, it may be using battery.
Lastly, go to Settings> Battery Usage. There you’ll see which apps are using the most battery.

I am using Xceed 1 BTE UP on 675 battery. So far so good with iPhone 13. 5 days on 675 wit 60-70% battery power left. 1 hour streaming per day. Phone calls on HA. Very nice.
