Oticon More 1 intermittent sound

I have an Oticon More 1 hearing aid. Lately I often hear intermittent sound on high vowel sounds of the interlocutor or myself. I put on headphones and turn on a video on YouTube, I also hear intermittent sound. But when I start the same video through the MFI, the interruption of high vowel sounds does not occur. In this regard, I suspect that my hearing aid has problems with the microphone part. Has anyone encountered something similar?

More than likely you are hear a little bit of feedback, or the aid is doing a slight compression os the high frequency.

I have not encountered anything like that myself. But it definitely sounds mike-related. If your Mores are still under warranty, maybe you can see about exchanging them for a new one under warranty to see if the issue goes away or not. Another simpler try is to ask your HCP to replace the receivers to see if it helps. It’s possible to be receiver-related and switching receivers can be done in the office before the aids have to be sent in for a couple of weeks for replacement. Logic might imply that the receivers can’t go bad if the streaming doesn’t present the issue. But it might be a subtle change that only present itself if the receivers interact with the mics. It’s still the easier thing to try at the HCP office anyway and you would know right away, so it should be the first thing to try anyway.
