Oticon Intent Case Suggestions

I’ve had moderate hearing loss in one ear for several years now and finally decided to try a hearing aid. I ended up getting a Oticon Intent 2 and while I’m still in the trial period, think it is worth using in certain situations. I am a frequent user of headphones and since I only have hearing loss in one ear, I often end up taking out the HA and swapping in headphones.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a small case that I can put the HA in? I’m looking for something the size of an Airpod case or smaller. Also, are there any small 3rd party cases (Airpod case size or similar) that can charge the Intent 2? I don’t think the HA is much larger than an Airpod, but the Oticon case is really huge and doesn’t fit in my jeans pocket. I searched online and couldn’t find anything.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
You may wish to check some of these portable cases.

There are no aftermarket chargers for the Intent, only the SmartCharger for Oticon.
All the HA mfgs use proprietary chargers.

I like small cloth zippered pouches.
Years ago… Compact Flash cards came in black zippered cased and they are what I still would use if not using the rechargeable boxes, which fit fine in my pocket.
They are very much like this, but these have those snap pockets.
If you can find something like this, either with velcro or zipper, or modify them…
that be better.
Or if you don’t need to snap them shut.
Snap be ok, I haven’t used them… as I said, cause i have plenty of the card pouches.
But I would be reluctant to SNAP them against the instruments constantly… could apply forces on the speakers, cable, at critical points, or even the bodies.

Is this the type of case to which you are referring: Used Sandisk Black neoprene CF Card case Memory card ?

Yes.
Never purchased them. Came free with the cards.
But that is exactly the item
Holds two aids easily and the most comfortable case I have ever seen.

Thanks! I ordered a few off Amazon to try out.

It’s disappointing that there aren’t any 3rd party smaller charging cases available or that Oticon didn’t make one.

If you had worn 2 hearing aids, I would have suggested the Oticon Intent SmartCharger. But at around $250, it’s quite pricy if you’re just looking for a chase to justify it just for 1 aid.

The widexmRIC charging case is portable and nice. I don’t like the stylettos as much, but their case is small.
