Oticon intent app

The Oticon app does not function qith the Intent aids when only one aid is in use. This is important given that I find that frequently one aid is only partially charged overnight. This could be due to the water glass I have to place over the charger: why Oticon feels that a charger cover is not necessary to protect from pets and dust I cannot imagine. Unless Oticon addresses this issue I may decide not to purchase the Intent aids I am trialing.

There have been frequent issues with aids not fully charging so the is a “fix it” issue. Try taking that aid out of the charger during the night and reinsert it to see if it fully charges, and report the results.

They will be releasing the SmartCharger soon, which does have a cover.
Since the Intent uses “Contact” charging as opposed to the previous generations, which used “Induction” charging, you have to make certain when you place the aid in the charger, the magnet seats it on the pins.
Make sure the light comes on to indicate charging is in the On state.

The aids are both showing green initially.

Both aids are initially green. I have messaged my audiologist for Oticon input.
