Hi guys, I have been wearing hearing aid since my early teens I am 60 now. I have a couple of questions. I recently got a pair of Intent 2. Is it best to keep the portable charger plugged in all the time or only when you’re charging it? The reason I ask is because they do not recommend leaving your mobile phone plugin when it is fully charged. Question number two, I have three programs on my aids, General MyMusic and Remote Mic 1. Are the aids supposed to change programs automatically or do you have to go in and and change the program by hand?
I have the INTENT1 aids with the rechargeable charger I didn’t keep my charger plugged in all of the time. When itbis done to one led I recharge it overnight along with my aids. No the programs you are talked about are not activated automatically, you have to change to them.
I personally only have the default program and find it to be all I need.
The standard charger can stay plugged in with the aids overnight. Leave them in there. The software will manage their charge in the charger.
You can leave the aids in their normal P1 slot and let the automatic do it’s thing unless you have specific needs in a specific situation.
Well I load the smart charger when the light turns orange, this for 1 or 2h until it has 3 lights again.
No need to keep this during the night on the power grid, but I do this mainly to not load it fully.
The hearing aids are protected and turns off as soon as they are fully charged, but this wont maybe works with the charger.
Rechargeable batteries are Lithium and frequent little and often charging to keep their charge between 30% and 80% of their capacity will prolong their life
the programs are meant for very specific situations. You need to change them when you need them. My music IS NOT a streaming program, it’s tune so you can enjoy music when you turn the radio on, I generally play music while reading at night.
The instruments by default will try to optimize themselves to give you the best SNR
that’s why you dont really need programs only when there is a specific situation.
