Can anyone point me to a copy of the Oticon Genie software instruction manual/programming guide for the 2024 version of the software?

Genie works exactly the same as the 2020,21,22,23 users guide? These are easy enough to find on the interwebs, if you have genie 2024 you can also find it there.

to open the User Guide , start Genie2 and klick the “?” Question Mark symbol inside Genie 2024

I have 2023.2.
When I check for an update it doesnt find any.
Perhaps someone might be able to send me a source?
Just keep trying with the genie updater, it’s country dependant like USA, UK, I had to try about 10 times before I got the notification, one way to get things rolling is to shut down your PC (not reboot!) then restart, and so long as your connected to the internet you’ll get a pop up notifying you of any updates.

Go to your program files (x86) directory in windows>Oticon>OticonUpdater>Double click OticonUpdater application file.

flash, what does this do over the genie updater in the system tray, is there a hidden file in there or something else.
what hearing aid model do you want to update.
For Oticon Intent you need the latest Genie 2 2024.2 that includes the latest FW upgrade for the Intent instruments.
So you may need the latest Genie 2 2024.2 update , if you want update the latest Firmware for hearing aid instruments.
Therefore start Oticon Genie Updater
Got to → Windows Startmenu → All Programms → Oticon → Oticon Genie Updater and check for Genie 2 Updates

I got 2024.2 by installing 2024.1 and the Updater worked.

I’ve had issues where the updater in sys tray does nothing, and I’ve had issues where I don’t see the updater at all, so in those cases, the surefire way is as described above.

Oh that’s Interesting, I haven’t had that issue myself, but it’s good to know there’s another way.
