I have followed whatever connection suggestions I could find which were only a few. So here’s my situation. I have GENIE 2 installed on a WIN PC. Using a confirmed USB A to USB Micro data cable Windows detects and installs the FITTINKlink WP-2. However GENIE 2 does not detect the FITTINGlink device. Apparently I am failing to do something or this pairing simply doesn’t work. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Why a cable, you just use the Bluetooth dongle that came with the FittingLink to detect.
You have installed the Bluetooth dongle right, you also need to choose the FittingLink in the drop down menu in genie.
Genie2 only accepts FittingLink 3.0
And your point being? 3.0 has backwards compatibility, mine is the original with updated firmware, works with the older versions still.
