So does this mean the Easy LE adapter is available now?

It isn’t on the Oticon website. And I tried to search for it and can’t find any information.

I found it here:

Not must help for the USA

It is similar to the streamer pro, but for bluetooth.
I guess, they’ve realised that their bluetooth strategy was a miss, and to make existig customer happy, they’ve added this LE adapter.
Or maybe it is something else!!!
Hopefully, they will use Auracast as a standard in their new HA.

I ordered this thru the VA just yesterday….We’ll see when I get it… Oh, this is my first post in here, I just joined…

Hey Butch, welcome to the gang!! Lots of us Vets on here!

What’s your use case for the adapter, and which phone.

My use case is to stream to my Intents from my windows laptop, as I have a Pixel 9 which has LE Audio, but my laptop doesn’t.

Thanks for the welcome… I’m going to use it to connect my Intents to my Windows desktop… I use an IPhone 13, that does not need the adapter…

How do you like the Easy LE Adapter? Sound quality? Good stereo hi-fi performance?

Thanks.. Butch

It’s great, once paired it stays. Of course the sound will depend somewhat on your acoustics, and HA settings, but it is a big improvement from the ConnectClip which used the SBC codec, with very limited range and fidelity.

You’ll want to be certain to have closed domes, or custom molds for maximum music streaming, and be sure your audi set up a Music program for you.

You can also use the Companion app on your smartphone to equalize the sound.

Depending on your hearing losss, the Oticons can go from 80HZ to 10Khz, so not bad.

You can post your audiogram in your profile, so we can see just what your loss is to help you more.

I didn’t get a copy of the audiogram from the VA… Guess I should ask them for one?.. Good to hear about the freq. response of the Oticons… I have double vented domes… What ever that is.. Sounds like they are open???

Depending on the clinic, they may give you a copy, or have you go to the records department. At the Long Beach clinic, you have to make the trip to another building to get the records.

Those domes would be semi-open. Stream some music from your phone, and adjust the equalizer in the Cmpanion app, if the sound is too tinny, put your fingers in your ears, and push them against the domes. If you get more bass, you’ll know you need a more closed dome, or better yet custom molds.

Also, have your audi add the MyMusic program, and have them adjust the Power Bass setting for your phone in the fitting software.

Thanks for that info… Long Beach is the clinic I use.. I don’t think I have any extra programs set up in my HAs… At least, the audi never mentioned any… As far as I know there is only the daily use one.. Do they usually install any with out you asking? Sorry about all of the stupid questions, but this is all new to me…

she connected the Adapter to her Android smartphone, isn’t that impractical to carry with smartphone all the time?

OK, Butch, I’d suggest, requesting Roberta for your next F/up. She’s been my go-to for years.

Most of the audis are mainly Phonak fitters, and seem to struggle with Oticon.

Since I mostly DIY, I only see them for hearing exams, or if a new mold has to be made.

The Intent has 4 available program slots, of course P1 is the general program, but you can have 3 others, and the fitting software has several to choose from, or you can create a custom one.

Tell Roberta Barry sent you!

Not really, it’s really very small, and just plugs into the charging port.

OK… I just received the Oticon Easy LE Adapter in the mail (I haven’t even opened up the package, as I was writing on this forum at the time)…. I want to applaud the VA on such quick service.. I called and got a next day appointment, Saw the Audi, and got the device 6 days later… Not bad, the whole shebang was exactly 1 week, from calling for the appointment to receiving the device.. Now to open and play with it…
