Can ConnectClip be reset to resolve the volume issue? Why hasn’t Oticon issued a firmware update?
No, it can reset Bluetooth connections only. I had CC with experimental firmware version, but it had same problem too. So I sold it. No Connectclip, no problem
Ah ok, I have the Oticon More, so that may be a reason although it’s not fully fixed, in my case and with Windows 11, it won’t drop from 100, but as soon as I put less than 100, it goes down one click every time a music plays until it reaches 6.
Then what happens? What do you have to do to bring the volume back up?
It’s windows, you can turn it up as normal, the idea is that you never put less than volume 100.
Question about LE adapter and Windows Laptop - I have Oticon INTENTs… whenever this is available in U.S., Will it stream audio from my laptop to my hearing aids or will I still need the connect clip ? My laptop does NOT support LE audio… Thanks …
This query was addressed above on Oticon Easy LE Adapter available in Europe - #10 by firenzel this post.
BTW, I called Oticon USA support to inquire about release info, and the rep did not even know what the LE Adapter is!!
Bottom line, don’t hold your breath!
I’m considering the FlooGoo FMA 100 for my pixel 6a.
Thanks… I’ll reread the thread… I think I missed the reference … I tried the FMA120 - I did finally get it work on my laptop, but I kept having to re-pair it - I think it conflicted with my TV Adapter 3.0… I actually found another TV Adapter at a Thrift store and that’s much easier to use when I want to hear audio from my laptop to my hearing aids… It would be nice to have a smaller gadget but not sure it will be worth the $125 price …
I see that Oticon LE adapter is now available in U.K … I’ll be checking with my Audiologist to see when it’s going to come to U.S.
Good luck, as I said earlier, Oticon support did not even know what the Easy LE Adapter is!
Let me know if your audi gets the info.
Maybe their audiologist can also tell them if the latest firmware update enabled Auracast. Seems to be a closely guarded secret.
Does also work on Apple products. Works brilliantly on my iPad Pro. Connectivity blows MFi out of the water.
Got mine for £78 in the UK from Oticon via my audiologist. Works very well on my PC and iPad Pro. Will keep testing on other products but connectivity is great. I can go outside of my flat and still hear sound whereas MFi breaks up as soon as I walk out of the room. Sound is much improved too, richer. Impressed so far.
Yes it will. Works perfectly on mine. Also works well for Teams calls etc.
I have the Intent1 HAs paired to a Pixel 9 Pro and the pairing works great. I am using a FlooGoo FMA 120 to connect my HAs to my Windows 11 PC and this works well too but my HAs cannot be connected to my Pixel and the PC at the same time. And the “Pairing and Trouble shooting guide” firenzel posted above states " You can only be connected to one set of hearing aids or other LE Audio devices at a time." so it looks like I will be sticking with the FlooGoo for now. (And it looks like the FLooGoo cheaper than the Easy LE Adapter.)
Yeah, but that’s the same with MFi devices too and has always been the case with Oticon. So doesn’t really matter to be honest.
switch to fonak, Dima)))
I tried switching. But I’ve been used to the DSE formula for a long time, and switching to Phonak is now impossible for me. Besides, Phonak accessories are very expensive. I may have to switch in the future - it looks like Oticon is phasing out superpower hearing aids.
Agree. I understand some Phonak HAs have the functionality to pair with two Bluetooth devices and I thought maybe with the Easy LE Adapter that might be the case with Oticon. I don’t know enough about the technology - maybe Phonak HAs have two BT chips and Oticon HAs have only one.
I tried the FMA120 and I would have to re-pair the aids after I used the TV adapter 3.0 … I’m kind of hoping the Easy LE Adapter will solve this problem… anyone know?
