Oticon Agil

Does anybody know when the Agil will be available for
trial, and purchase ?

The word on the street is after the AAA covention April 19th.

they mini is really tini!

The dummy aid I received is much smaller than the previous casing but still about 30% larger than the Phonak Smart. The Agil Pro is also about 20% more expensive on wholesale than the Epoq XW in Australia.

Can you guys verify first deliveries arrive around April 12, then release for sales after AAA April 19th?

I’m very interested in this myself. I am currently trying a pair of Epoq XWs. My audi didn’t even tell me about the Agil. If they are coming out next month then I want to hold off and wait for them. I’m only 44 and if I’m spending this kind of money for new hearing aids, I want to get the very best available. Does anyone know if there are going to be any improvements to the Streamer? Stereo sound would be nice.

I have a working set of agil pro mini rite. I will take a pic and post it today

Come on - we’re waiting!!

Thanks xbulder. Will you verify they program with flexconnect 390-01-180-05 and #3 cable?

flexconnect. I will take a pic tomorrow and I promise I will put it

I talked to my audiologist and she said that she ordered a pair of Agils for me. When she thought of patients who might want to try them, she said I was on the top of her list. I guess she knows me a little bit after five years. I am getting them on April 1st, so I will let everyone know how they compare to the Epoq XWs I am trying now.

Looking at a picture on the Oticon web site I notice a slit at the top of the battery door (in the middle of the aid), does it look like sweat can enter the battery compartment thru here?

this is where you insert the flexconnect. they have probably learnt something,
this is bernafon form factor so they must have learnt something as bernafon had it for some time

Std.4 pin socket under the hatch of the Bernafon one. No flexconnect.

one is by beltone not bernafon

i suggest to use nearcom, using flex is kind of strange

I also will be giving the Oticon Agil a trial. My audi is hoping it will be in next week. I’m not in love with the Phonak Naida IXs…

they are very vrey good… 2 big improvement is how they manage sound loud noises

I have a working set of agil pro mini rite. I will take a pic and post it today

with baited breath the crowd anxiously awaits

Maybe Walgreens photo lab lost the film.

Audeo Yes on the left, Agil Pro mini (steel grey) with a size 2 medium receiver on the right.
