Oticon 3.0 TV adapter "Mode button" function on the back of the device?

Oticon 3.0 TV Adapter mode button?

I own a Oticon 3.0 TV Adapter and have read the PDF manual and viewed the Videos… and still can’t figure out what the “Mode button” is used for on the back of the 3.0 TV Adapter?

I didn’t even know this Mode button existed until you guys mentioned it. I couldn’t find anything in the manual that addresses this. My only guess is that since it’s right next to the Toslink Out connector, perhaps it’s used to set the mode of the Toslink output connection, like Stereo, Dolby, DTS or whatever. This is purely a guess, however. I just don’t see any other plausible explanation for it. Perhaps that’s why they don’t say anything about it in the manual.

Now I’m curious myself. Perhaps somebody can call their audi or Oticon customer service to find out?

I have contacted Oticon support by email before and it did take almost 10 days to get a response. I have called their support and was bluntly told to take my questions to my Audi. I go to the VA clinic for my aids and the normal time to get in for an appointment is between a month and six weeks, but the small clinic I go to i have been lucky and get in between 2 weeks and a month. And I have had one time my aid was not working correctly and was seen on a walk in. But that was a quick check and my aid was send in for repairs

Hi, I just checked a YouTube video. There is no mode on the TV Adaptor. I have a rechargeable Oticon hearing aid and according to the video, you turn your TV ON and then Press the button on your hearing aid for 3 sec. This will change activate the TV Adaptor on and you can hear it, then when done, press the button (on hearing aid) aging to return to normal mode. That is it!! Hope this will help you
