does this also apply to bernafon Alpha 7 MNr T . I just bought that hat. but there is no response tool, I checked the battery, still in Full state.
then I tried to connect with Oasis. no response at all.
did I make a mistake ,or is it broken?

I open youtu*, in the video, they change the 312+ battery, and the tool is live (like swapping a regular battery)

This is the ones to use.
I read these posts when my Oticon minirites started saying the batteries needed recharging a few hours before I would normally charge them before bed.
I presumed a battery would be simple and inexpensive to change. I was wrong on both accounts the batteries were very expensive and almost impossible to source without using a repairer with a standard service charge which was Ā£150 per aid in the UK.
After confirming that I couldnāt find a source at a reasonable price for the Z22A or the original batteries, I started looking for other alternatives.
The original battery size fitted is 7.8mm x 4mm at 20mah which in battery terms is 7840 (CR7840 LIR7840) or other versions depending on the manufacturer.
The first source I found was on alibaba.com listed as M7840S1/LIR78403.7V 15mAh from the Shenzhen Coincell Battery Co. I was able to buy 6 of these directly for 83 USD. These were simple to fit and I calibrated them through NOAH (Iām not sure how this does anything or how in engineering terms it can do anything useful). However, it was soon clear that 15mah would not meet my needs as I got about 14 hours before the aids switched off (About 3 ā 4 hours less than I needed)
After searching some more I found several sources on 1688.com listing 18mah batteries under LIR7840 and also LIR840 which is 0.2mm wider than the original size. I decided to go for the LIR840 for no particular reason except there were lots listed from one manufacturer called LIDEA and it was easier to find one that had a minimum order of 10 batteries. I had to use an agent to buy and ship them to the UK but the overall cost was about 30USD for the lot.
So far they seem to be working well after 15 hrs use they are showing about 40% power. Only been using them for a few weeks so I will have to see if they perform over time. Iāve got plenty of spares if they donāt.
I hope someone finds this of some use.

For Oticon it is, like just one pin and you have access to the battery compartment, Iāve seen these batteries go for $65, good value if they last just a couple of years of use, you may even get get a bit more.

Through NOAH? You mean Genie software and using a Noahlink wireless programming device right?

Interesting. Do you have a link to the exact vendor you used? $3 each is good. Hopefully their longevity is ok even if the runtime is a little less.

I was impressed that they used a carrier that specialised in shipping batteries.
Just be carefull when ordering that you ask for the batteries as shown in the pictures as they offer then with soldered wires on as well which might be lost in translation if not specified.

Any issue with fitment of the 8mm size versus 7.8mm?
What did you pay per battery in Chinese Yuan?
The size was not an issue, also the same company makes the 7.8mm version.
They were listed at 3.8 yuan each when I ordered in January.

I was told by a German Audi that the Varta button cell CP1254 A4 Li-Ion 74 mAh 3.7V are the ones for OPN S, More, Real etc, although Iāve not had an opportunity to try them out.
A quick google of Varta CP1254 shows plenty of vendors, all selling at around the $15 mark. May be worth a punt?
EDIT: see next post - looks like the information I got from the audiologist was wrong 
Shame - it would be too easy if it were just an off the shelf standard battery .
