Some months ago I read about the release of an update, 1.1.0 for my Oticon HA. However my audiologist is not aware of it. Could it be this is not released yet for my country (Belgium)? I still have version 1.0.1. My audiologist would check with Oticon but so far no news. Anybody?
What Oticon HAs do you have?
All will be different as my Oticon HAs have firmware 8.0.

I have the INTENT1 aids with firmware 1.1.0 and the main update is to connectivity. And there are other unexplained updates.

Has your audiologist connected your Aids to the software yet?
The update will then come up, if it is available in your country.
I know with the Phonak Software, USA got the new software way before Europe, so it could be the same for Oticon.
Another issue might be is your audiologist doesn’t have the latest software which includes the update for the Intent

The firmware should be available in Belgium, too.
I know that the 1.1.0 Update for Oticon Intent is realeased in Europe, because a friend in Germany got this update for his Intent hearing aids about a month ago.
The update for the Intent is included in the latest version of Genie 2 -2024.2
Your audiologist need to update his Genie 2 fitting software, and connect your Intent hearing aids to the software. Then he will get a notification that a newer firmware update is available and ready for installation.
