Optimal settings for streaming using Philips HearLink 9040

Finally got my Philips 9040’s, after waiting for the custom molds to come in.
So, while these aren’t earbuds or headphones, any recommendations for general settings to have (or avoid) when streaming music from the phone to get them as good as possible?

There was a recent post about recommendations for playing an instrument (lower compression, turn off freq. shifting, turn off feedback filter, etc.) Same for streaming? Or will that hurt voice recognition in calls, audio books, etc.

If it interferes with the main settings, then I am happy to have the audi just crank up the bass and vol settings, and then play with the streaming equalizer on the phone. But if they can be tweaked even better, that would be a plus.

If there’s a setting like Oticon, you can turn the Phone Volune up within Oticon Genie.

That really helps.

:crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers: Philips have something similar.

The 9040s have a music program, have the fitter set it up for you.
You can select it when streaming or listening through the mics.
IDK if the Philips have the same set up as Oticon, but in the end fitting your audi can adjust the phone settings for BassBoost, and more volume for streaming.

It might hurt voice calls depending on one’s hearing loss.

Have your fitter install a music program and try it out. You can always press the button on the hearing aid to change programs, or better yet just get the remote control.
