I see an open-box pair of my old Beyond 330’s (current pair still working but 5.5 years old). I take open-box to mean demo models or returned but not worn so they should have some good life in them. I have all the accessories so I am tempted to give them a shot.
I have a couple questions.
Is there any way to get them programmed remotely ?
Is it possible to change wires DIY ?
In 5 years of ownership all my audiologist did was change wires and tune them up so I don’t see why I couldn’t do this myself.
My hearing is stable at mild to moderate with not much change in the last 5 years.
Remote tuning is obviously the deal-killer and I don’t know if this is possible.
Remote fitting performed by who? Your Audi or by you?
If this is for (DIY by you) then you don’t use remote fitting. You buy a hearing aid programming device and then use the fitting software to connect to your hearing aids and program them.

Tip: You cannot use Noahlink Wireless for Beyond 330’s. It won’t work.
I guess I was hoping I could pay a remote audiologist to do the programming using a device (the Noah ?) and then maintain (the only maintenance I have done is dry them, clean them and change batteries. The only thing the audiologist has done is change wires so that is something I would want to be able to do myself.
It looks from your materials that the Evoke would work with Noah, is that correct ?
Nothing special about the Beyonds other than familiarity, I just saw a pair on eBay. I also see Evokes which I know are next-gen.
My preference would be to buy the Noah, buy some Evokes and find someone to program them remotely. Is this doable ?
Na you’ll need the ProLink, only the moment is Noahlink wireless for now anyway.
Just DIY, I wouldn’t bother with remote fitting, as not everyone would offer to program HAs not brought from them and not everything can be done this way, go DIY you’ll be better off doing this yourself, it’s not hard to do.
