What is a good website on which to take a hearing test that is reliable. About 4 years back I took a test at the office of an ENT and he said that my hearing was normal. A year ago at the same office a new ENT said that the prior test showed moderate to severe loss. So she scheduled a new test with the same office audiologist showing similar results and that I needed a hearing aid. So I scheduled a hearing aid visit with that audiologist. She said that she preferred Widex for her patients but said I would not get the WOW factor out of this. So I didn’t do anything ,with that price. Meanwhile my family keeps complaining about my hearing wrong such as “what did you say?” I keep getting different opinions. There is no wax in my ears. What should I do now?
Sharing your most recent audiogram with us with would give us a better idea. Basically you’ve got a choice: Do you want to do something to deal with your hearing difficulties or not? If yes, options are hearing aids or maybe PSAPs.

This will show you what to do to get a reasonable result. It isn’t as good as a calibrated equipment test but can give a general idea.
Thank you, but she never gave me the firat one, and the second was misplaced somewhere on my cluttered desk.
Thank you; I will try this out.
I stumbled on this the other day. Haven’t gone all the way through it, but seems well built. Would love to know other options.
More better, use headphones:

How do you post your audiogram?
Top of page, click on FORUM, then My Hearing Tests
If you have an iPhone and one of the sets of Apple family (AirPods, Beats) then I can recommend the Mimi app. It gave me the same results I got at Boots, a private audiologist and the NHS.
