What are some good use cases for omnidirectinal? Pinna? Etc.? Do those setting in Philips aids mimic Oticon or not really as the Philips lack the post-processing?
I am investigating this question also. The general program of my 9040’s had a somewhat annoying hiss in quite environments, I believe this is known as ‘floor noise’. To rectify the issue I moved the pinna mode slider from pinna to omni directional and the hiss went away, I do not however understand how this will effect how sound is perceived. Anyone have any further insight to this?
