Omnia 9 RIE 2LP receiver replacement not working

I’ve got resound omnia hearing aids. (RU961-DRWC) The receiver on my left side isn’t working well (the sound is extremely faint). If I put my right hearing aid in my left ear, I can hear normally (so it’s not my hearing). If I put the receiver from my right onto the left hearing aid, I hear sound but get a repeated fast-fast-fast-slow-slow-slow-slow (base pitch,-1,base pitch,+1,+1,-1,base pitch)

I grabbed 2 replacement receivers (sure fit 3, 2LP, R+L Side) from eBay. When I plug them into my hearing aid, I get no sound and no beeps.

I grabbed a copy of Resound Smart Fit 2.1 and a noalink 2.
The hearing aids are recognized in the software.

With the original receivers connected, the hearing aids are recognized along with the receivers (2LP). However, if I replace the receiver with a new one, it tells me the receiver is not detected.
If I swap sides for the old receivers, the software says “Receiver Changed”. This indicates the contacts inside the hearing aids are fine.

Do I need to do anything special to get my new receivers working?

Thanks!

No, receiver is plug and play, but at least now you can DIY your HAs
Yeah so these are smart receiver so it knows left from right that’s why when you swap them over, you get those beebs, honestly it’s pretty easy job to replace the receiver and you’ve gone through a lot for this!
Yeah so just fiddle around and make sure you’ve got a good connection on the new receiver, if SmartFit isn’t detecting then it’s not connected correctly, I think from memory they have 8 pin connector, can you show screenshot of the pin connector from old and new receiver.
