Oasis 24.1 needed desperatly

I recently brought HAs from specsavers Australia called ADVANCE which the audiolgist told me where based on Oticon real platform. He told me the tuning software is Oasis 24.1 but Specsavers wont supply it.
I have been tuning my aids for over 15 years and have been happy with the results and while the audiologist is good getting an appointment is a pain and if more then a few minutes overtime you get the short shift because hes so busy.
I just can not get these aids sorted, it sounds like people have a lisp but if I had the software I copuld spend some time getting the tuned just right.
I have ordered a NOAHlink 2 so I am committed to get the software from someware, maybe some one can point me in the right direction.
BTW I have oticon genie latest edition but fron what I understand its not compatible.

Hi there, yeah gotta be careful with those Specsavers models as some are known to be locked, but I didn’t know they were supplying Bernafon, it’s usually Phonak/Signia, but check your PM.

What model of hearing aid do you have? You may need a customised version of the OASIS NXT

Yes I was thinking this myself, especially as the op mentioned Specsavers.

Its called the specsaver advance standard. There is no data sheet available so I have no idea what the specs are.
I was told they were oticon but they are definitely bernafon I went to the bernafon website today and they are identical to the Alpha miniRITE T my guess is they the cheapest on that list.
As you know they are the same company so they probably told me oticon as I had those before and hearing customers are considered dumb by most audiologists.
The bernefon software is identical but it did not recognise my aids, So that’s disappointing as you are probably right about oasis not working.
I lost my aids in a boating accident and the insurance requires I get the same features as I had, one of which is telecoil so these were the only aids that qualified.
Thanks for you input I will see if I can get the right software from somewhere at the moment waiting for the noahlink wireless to arrive so a bit stuck till that happens.
The web site for the aids is
https://www.specsavers.com.au/hearing/hearing-aids/digital-hearing-range-and-prices?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw65-zBhBkEiwAjrqRMPzteH430DMiYdWRBQK9LBBNWXjITBkFcxNlYH38rEwHxMYxrhizExoCHmMQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Can you find the actual model number of your hearing aids on their shells or in their battery compartments?
It might be easier for us to know what software they need when we get their model name.

Sorry to take so long The model number on the shell is
Specsavers 290
AO1 MNR T
I have also included a pic of the hr. They look like bernafon and they now tell me they are from Demant not oticon as they said before but they still say they use the REAL platform.

Yeah who knows what they are, definitely from Demant parts bin, but they’ll be locked as the Subsidised Device Schedule states “manufacturer by Specsavers” ha they don’t make anything just offer rebranded models.

I believe its model number is AO1 MNR T.
I can see the same model in one of the other rebrand seller versions of the software,Maybe you can try the software to see if it works with your hearing aids!

Please check your PMs later.
Good luck!

Thanks for that much appreciated. I have been looking at Chinese hearing aids occasionally and wonder which manufacturers supply hearing aids equivalent in performance to phonak L90 or Oticon top of the range if any.
Seems Chinese technology in this area is fast becoming the world leaders.

No Chinese hearing aid brand has yet reached the technical heights of the hearing aid brands owned by the Big 5.

Have sent you a download link for the software, check your PM.

That software looks the same as Sonic and Bernafon, so a rebranded model of those.

But why, as in why look for Chinese equivalent, your best bet when you decide to upgrade is head straight to your nearest Costco, top premium models from most manufacturers at way better prices then Specsavers could ever hope to offer.

Costco don’t share there software so no government support

Costco don’t have any “special software” for the HAs they sell, the software is available directly from the manufacturers.
