Noises from short hair

I have Kirkland 8 aids. I’m a male with very short hair. I hear clicking noises, mostly in my right ear, which appear to be due to my hair touching the aids. Could this be the source of clicking noises? Is there anything I can do about it?

I think that’s been the source of the clicking/crackling sound that I’ve had as well. I went and got my hair cut shorter than usual on the sides and that seems to have removed the majority of the trouble. It’ll work for summer time at least, winter, I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get there…

I get the clicking noises too.
When it’s not my Tinnitus, it’s usually the body of my aid sticking to/rubbing against/between my ear/head. I also wear glasses and the arms on my glasses sometimes cause the clicking noise as it slides up and down the body of the aid during facial movements, such as eating and talking. I can usually stop the clicking by simply rubbing a finger up and around the body of the aid and my ear to stop it sticking. Usually helps for me.

I had my hair cut and get wind noise now. Just can’t win!

Maybe cut down on the Baked Beans?

Rolling out of the bed every morning is a pretty good win.
Maybe it’s me but I don’t get the hair noise mentioned in this post. Wind yes but not the hair noise. Yes, I have hair.

I definitely noticed hair noise when I was exercising. After a shorter hair cut, the hair noice was significantly reduced. It was not really clicking. More like when you touch the aid with your fingers.
