Noahlink Wireless V1 or V2

I am in the process of ordering a Noahlink Wireless to connect to my Jabra Pro 20’s. I see there is now a Noahlink Wireless 2 available although not easy to find in the UK at the moment.
So the question is:
Should I wait until I can get the V2, pay a bit more and future proof for future HA’s
or
Go for the V1 and start playing now?
What would you do?

Mark 1 is all you need, it does exactly the same as Mark 2, I don’t see any “future proofing” at this time.

The original version was of a hearing aid manufacturer brand, reSound iirc. Their version could upgrade its 1.7 firmware to become identical to the Noahlink Wireless. So the industry has the practice on the dispenser side to keep the gadgets upgradable.

“The new Noahlink Wireless 2, the latest version of Noahlink Wireless, includes hardware component upgrades to keep up-to-date with technology changes”
If it’s hardware upgrades, this can’t be upgradable.
Having said that, “the Noahlink Wireless 2 is an industry-standard programming interface based on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard” yet the V1 states “New industry-standard programming interface based on the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) standard”
So maybe there’s not that much difference.

The original was the ReSound Airlink dongle, then the Airlink2 was released and the firmware could be updated so it could include all the other programmable BLE HAs.

The only difference is the new BLE chip which is now 5.2, the Mark I used an older 4.2 BLE.

That was it. Knew it wouldn’t do to try and remember.
