Keep in mind that Medicare will only cover a single cochlear. It behooves one to get the first before going on Medicare.

So, I think my audiologist was referring to my regular health insurance. If so, then what you are saying is right. I get the first one from my insurance and then years later, the second from Medicare. If that is how it works.
If you have the need, that’s the way to go.
