I collected a fresh box of batteries from Specsavers and asked when my receivers would be replaced. I had read that some deals included new receivers every 12 months. I was told Specsavers don’t replace them unless there’s a problem with them. Believe it or not the wire on my 3 year old r/h receiver snapped that very afternoon. I went back and got them to order l/h and r/h receivers, claiming that the wires must have become brittle with age.
In the week that I was without receivers I reverted to using my 2017 WIdex Passion 220 RIC. It took some getting used to but TBH I found them fine.
Today the new Phonak receivers arrived and were fitted promptly. I’m listening to my stereo wearing the widest grin possible. A week without has made me realise how very good Phonak’s music program is.

Did your hearing aids come with 4 or 5 years warranty?
4 years warranty, unlimited audi visits, batteries, and domes. Strangely enough wax guards are not included.
