My audiologist says brand-new technology is coming out at the end of August this year (2024). He didn’t say what’s being released, though. Any insights?

It seems to be a new RIC hearing aid called Audeo Sphere. It’s claim to fame is better speech in noise from built in AI. It will be larger than the "typical’ RIC hearing aid and at least initially will be rechargeable battery only. Just “rumor” at this point but I think we’ve heard from some reliable resources.

Interesting. I have the P90-312 ears. Streaming is an absolute must for me. I wonder if going BTE would still have this capability and if I would “hear different” with BTEs. 
Yes BTE have the same, just a lot bigger, which is good for streaming, size 13 or 675 battery or the rechargeable.
BTE (vs RIC) probably won’t be available in the new platform for about a year.
