New Philips 9050 user

I have the S24 and I believe our 9050 Blue Tooth issues are resolved with Samsung’s udate to Android 15. If you’re an ATT user, you will be stuck on Android 14 for awhile more. The S25 does support Auracast so you can set the phone up to cast out to other devices, but that’s kinda of useless now. I setup one S24 as an Auracast transmitter and then used the other S24 to try and receive the Auracast to my HA9050…sorry…not working yet. If you are a S24 user T-Mobile or International carrier, you should already be on Android 15 and 16 is coming later in the year.

I have the issue with S53 5g, Android 14, no hands free and thought it was compatible but I listen more to in person and can live without hands free.

I have an S24+ with Ting Mobil which is on the T Mobil System. I still have Android 14 - waiting on the update to Android 15. But my LE Audio works fine with Philips 9050. Full hands free/tap control. However, as noted above, it has glitched a couple of times and then mysteriously regained its footing. No rhyme nor reason. I connected, paired, unpaired, removed apps reinstalled apps. And then voila, LE connection reinstated. My only conclusion was shaman I called who whispered some incantations into the phone. He/She (long robe so not sure) used a language I wasn’t familiar with…LOL.

Folks, I keep reading conflicting specs regarding the 9050’s. Some websites say that the 9050 HA’s support Auracast, others state only LE Audio. This might swing me to the Jabra’s if Philips is not supporting. Thanks.

At present it’s LEA only.
Auracast is coming with the next update, though, so you will get it.
I was looking the Oticon Easy LE Adapter for my older pixel phone, and it’s available in Europe, with an update to the Oticon Intent to 1.2.0. That will provide Auracast.
When it is available in the States for Oticon, Philips also gets it.
