I get that. I just wasn’t sure what benefit there’d be for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which has LE Audio natively.
Got it, thanks. A handy item for sure👍
If your aids have the Le audio capability then it can be amazing. My aids seldom disconnect from my phone or app. The app has always connected option. Even if my app isn’t open to tje screen it is connected and I can control my aids from the phones lock screen. The audio sound is great too. I don’t listen to music often but when I donit sounds great. I only have the default program and that is my decision and preference. I put my aids on when I wake up and somedays I don’t even think about them all day. I do have the TV adapter, connect clip and EDUMIC. They all have there uses. But with my aids so well adjusted for my needs I seldom need them anymore.
It uses the hearing aids microphones, using it on my PC for some months
When the adapter is plugged in, you can choose from it, or the PC mic in the sound settings.
If you choose the easy le adapter, it uses the Intent mics, for that is the INTENTion, LOL!
AHH, Bruno, ya beat me to it.
It’s only 11:00 in Cali!

You gotta love marketing fluff!
At least for my needs the INTENT aids have been really great and surpassed my expectations.
I agree on the Intents!
Going to the VA tomorrow to get a new mold for my left ear, the current one moves around, and causes occlusion (very weird).
I need new ear molds, but my audiologist asked me to wait until at least November. He is hoping for Oticon to make the advanced material available for the power receivers.
what advanced material?
The thermo molds?
Most clinics don’t even do the digital impressions, yet. I know you said your guy does them.
So they’ll announce Auracast like they invented it. Maybe fall detection? Doesn’t sound like it’s worth waiting around for. I was hoping for an alternative to Sphere. What’s the source?
Gee - improvements us ‘user comfort’. Does that mean we’ve all been wearing/using HA’s that have been uncomfortable for years? Think not. Sustainability = Energizer Bunny? These are not reasons to buy a new HA, unless your old ones have died.
I have worn aids for 20 years and Oticon aids for 15 years. I don’t wear Oticon aids for the gimmicks I wear them because of being able to understand speech. I really don’t care about auracast either. I absolutely love the INTENT aids and only hope the next level aids at least give me the same results.

Do we know when the date of the launch in UK? Im hoping something upgrade from Xceed or UP BTE…..
Nothing exciting there. For awhile Oticon was investing in IFTT Additional health monitoring is OK but not of value to me. I would value improved sound quality for speech as well as music. HA have 2% distortion whereas my audio system is .001%. How much better would it be if the speaker technology improved rather than continually investing in the processor algorithms.
Let me ask a question you talk about distortion. Just how much distortion does your on hearing loss causes you to hear? I know for me it is a lot. I have been wearing aids for 20 years and Oticon aids for 15+ years. I now wear the INTENT1 aids and for the first time I can now enjoy music and even going to concerts and lectures again. The INTENT1 aids along with a wonderful audiologist and the help of Oticon audiologist/engineers I am enjoying life again. I actually can also enjoy going out to restaurants to meet with friends and family. I don’t complain about what possibly can come I am always a positive attitude person. My Native American ancestors and my great grandmother and grandmother taught me that being always positive is healthy and being negative leads to a life of illness. I am almost 78 never been hospitalized or had any illness other than a mild flu. I don’t take prescription drugs either. Life is what you make out of it.
I am generally happy with the current custom setup for music with my Oticon Opn S2. However, there seems to be some naturalness missing. I only reference the distortion spec as an example of how the speaker compares poorly to a musical speaker. I understand that there is a solid state speaker that has the potential to greatly improve this, but I believe that it’s power consumption is currently problematical.
