New Auracast Assistive Listening Website

To gather info on the growing installation of assistive listening systems featuring Auracast, I have created a website (www.nht.name) that will act as a clearinghouse on that topic. It contains a list of known venues featuring an Auracast-enabled ALS, known Auracast enabled devices, and other relevant matters. It has links to detailed news releases or news stories about the information. Responses to this post sharing info on such installations or devices can be posted on the forum or shared via email to NHT@juno.com. Suggestions re the website are also welcome.

For any interest in the topic of assisted listening systems, you might also find www.ccaa.name of interest. It has the results of a survey on the utilization of assistive listening systems, a sample of the original questions contained in the survey, and comments on the survey from many of the participants.

A great idea!
I think that as you add venues to it you will need to add more organization. For example, it would be very helpful if it were sorted by country, state or province, and city.

That’s a great initiative, hlaanm! To help expand the reach and usefulness of your Auracast-focused site (www .nht .name), consider adding a simple submission form where users can directly report new Auracast-enabled venues or devices, making it easier to gather contributions without relying solely on email or forum replies. Also, adding a visual map of installations and basic filtering options could enhance user experience and engagement.

It’s an international list but has been revised to group listings by category.
