What is a nerve damage because of aging? How can someone cope with it?
There’s a guy who goes to my Deaf Centre with a ABI and not a CI as it won’t work due to nerve damage, limited function.
Looks just like a CI tho from Med El but works very differently.

Not 100% sure but think Med El are the only manufacturer but I’ve known the guy 3 years and he told me 3 years, that he has an ABI and not a CI ago so things could have changed.
