Were you able to install the latest version 1.14?
I got an error with missing file for Avante 3. I ended up installing the previous 1.13 and not install Avante 3. I don’t know if it was the right thing to do as I just wanted to see if I could install Resound software before thinking about getting a Noahlink.
It works for me. Did you get the download from somewhere that looked like this?

SmartFit includes Aventa it’s a single file, so one install for both.
You can launch Aventa by choosing the correct HAs, say linx or verso model in simulation mode.
Yes, that is the link I used and version 1.14 had an error message of a missing file during install. Window 10.
The download and install is a single file. However, during install, you can ‘uncheck’ the box next to Avante 3 which I thought would not install that module. Since I only have newer Resound HA, I’m hoping I don’t need the Avante 3 module. I’ve started up the Resound interface but haven’t tried anything yet till I learn more.
Uninstall SmartFit and reinstall SmartFit + Aventa3.
SmartLauncher, SmartFit, and Aventa3 work together to fit new and Legacy hearing aids. Don’t worry about trying to customize the fitting software to fit your specific hearing aids. SmartLauncher will do that for you, automatically, without you doing anything.

The info provided by PVC no longer works. The dropbox link is dead. Is there a new link? I too have had to rebuild my PC and no can no longer fit my HAs
