I have been using a pair of Philips 9030s for quite a while. Recently, my comprehension has gone down. Unfortunately, Costco wants me to go to an ENT. I am taking drugs that have negative impact on hearing but the fitter at Costco insisted that I needed the double base domes which occlude hearing. They will not do anyting more until I go to ENT which I don’t feel is necessary.
I hate having everything amplified as well as the stuffy domes. Anyway, I broke out my old NoahLink and started looking for my Genie 2 software. Somewhere I managed to lose my installed version and my installer. If some kind soul could send me the download link, I would be most appreciative.
Hi there, great your giving DIY a go, be sure to do some research and read the user guides before starting, as you have the Noahlink wireless already I’m sure you’ll be up and running in no time.
I had pretty good results years ago just letting the Genie do default settings for my loss. The engineers who write the programming software have a far better understanding of the pitfalls of using inappropriate settings than most of us DIY types. Our intentions and research might be great but we aren’t well versed in audio engineering. At least I’m not.
BTW, I do love the sound of Oticons. I opted for the Real 1 because I have seen criticism of the AI outcomes.
