I would love to be able to change the Bluetooth streaming Ambient Balance before I have started streaming.

Here’s my typical user journey:

  1. Start YouTube video on app (on Android) , aids switch to Streaming mode.
  2. Find ambient balance is wrong, so switch app to myPhonak.
  3. Watch the Bluetooth Streaming mode icon change back to ‘Automatic’ because YouTube stopped playing the video. The aids switch back to non-streaming mode and the Ambient balance button is hidden.
  4. :rage: :rage:

I will have my audiologist adjust the default balance, but often I would rather have a bit more control.

Wondering why you open the app on your cellphone… just manage the balance by using your aids control

You can do that, with the buttons? I’ll try it now…

You can use playtube app or any other app with background play ability. I can use myphonak app with playtube streaming
