Welcome to the forum @javbike  TBVH, 10 years is a long time in hearing aid development, if you are still using the same aids, you have done wonderfully well… Personally, I change my aids every 2 years or so, that keeps me in the technological curve… Costco, does high end rebranded hearing aids, at around $1500 USD, for a pair, fully fitted, you may require custom molds though? They use best practices, like REM, if you are a member and have one close by, it may be in your interest, I would certainly suggest you make an appointment, and get tested, you will then see/hear for yourself what this newer technology can offer, like Bluetooth hand free calling, and streaming music & videos directly into your ears… Good Luck, cheers Kev

Edit; You appear to be suffering from excessive feedback, usually associated with ill fitting molds, it is little wonder you aren’t hearing well…

Just to add to what kevels55 said, Miracle ear in the US is a subsidiary and/or licensee of Amplifon and sells rebranded Signia hearing aids. Costco sells the same hearing aids, but only the highest level insturments, under the brand of Rexton for $1,500. I agree with kevels55 that if your hearing aids are 10 years old, it is a completely different world now. You don’t indicate in your profile where you are located, but if you are in a country which has Costco stores, they give you an extensive no questions asked return period which in the US is six months.

I found Hearing Aids last about 5 or 6 years . I tried the brand you use during a office visit and thought the sound quality was flat. Costco Jabra , Phonak, and Resound seem to produce a more lively sound. But that’s just me. Remember each person’s hearing loss is different.
