Good morning most knowledgeable friends.
Can any one here give me a comparison or tell me which of these two hearing aids offers the best speech in noise?
MicroTech Mobility 50 or MicroTeck Avail
Thanks
Good morning most knowledgeable friends.

MicroTech Mobility 50 or MicroTeck Avail
Thanks
The MicroTech Mobility (same as Starkey Wi Series) should work better than the Avail because it has a better noise reduction system called SpeechTrax. It’s the same as Voice iQ in Starkey.
When I originally purchased my Microtech hearing aid from 5 star they tried to order in a size 13 battery. At the time MicroTech was out of that size. So I mentioned it again yesterday and he said he’d send the original Avail back and get a new HA that had a size 13 battery and today when I asked him about the model, he said it was a Mobility 50. Not sure why this would be a better option for him but it certainly looks like a better option for me.
That should actually be closer to what I was trialing from Costco at the time. It was the Resound Forza.
As long as it’s got better speech in noise and at least the same options of the Avail I don’t see a problem.
Thanks.
The Avail has a RIC 13 version. Are you sure you’re getting the Mobility 50? It’s significantly more expensive than the Avail.
Yes, that’s exactly why I’m asking. I specifically called him back because he went through a long explanation on why he was going to Starkey rather than MicroTech. Then the next day when I called back he said it was going to Be a MicroTech Mobility 50. I asked twice and repeated the model number. I reminded him that the day before he said Starkey and reminded him that he actually returned the Micro Tech Avail and will need a new Contract on the Mobility…
So all of these loose ends is why I’m asking. Guess we’ll see when we see.
Nothing like a little suspense.
Thank you.
OK, so nevermind. He had no idea what he was saying.
LOL. It’s just hearing aids… right?..
