How difficult is it to change the thin tubes on these? It’s appears that the thin tube is wedged into a piece of thicker tubing which holds it into the drilled hole in the mould.
It depends, if the tubing has been glued into the mold your Audiologist is going to have to be the one to change the tubing. If they aren’t glued into the ear piece, they should just click into place for you. But take care you don’t bend the tubing doing so. You need to take care when inserting the mold into your ear, that you don’t bend the tubing. If the tubing gets bent, it can reduce the amount of volume that you hear. Good luck.
