Hello I have self programmed before but not for 3 years or so.
I have a Macbook Air 2023 with M2 prosscer from what i’ve seen on previous threads it seems impossible to program with phonak target on a Macbook due to not being able to connect to the NoahLink wireless. Is there anyway to do it ? I have parrales to run windows.
I cant get a second laptop and really need some programming and local audioligy are being appaling so would appreacite any advice. thank you
One thing tho, the New version Noahlink 2 has not been mentioned, but it’s the driver issue not a bluetooth issue, and the new Noahlink 2 is upgraded Bluetooth otherwise it’s the same design.
Actually good question, yes the HiPro and cables, but why bother, you could get a cheap windows laptop for less then the cost of setting HiPro up an Mac book.
Yeah that would of been the iCube ll if it was Phonak or Unitron, so yes it’s just the Noahlink wireless that is having issues, but I still don’t understand why you’d still want to use a Mac, everything is designed for windows and works flawlessly like this.
Ok then, well there’s quite a few people who have target running on their Macbook, the older versions could use bootcamp as well, hopefully they’ll chime in.
Thank you. I have target running fine using parallel. It’s just about the programming device. Looks like there’s no way of getting round the Noahlink could get hi pro I would just be concerned it will work with the aids I’ve got but not future ones but may be best I’ve got ! Thanks
Exactly, so the HiPro is already on it’s way out anyways, because the Noahlink wireless is the industry standard now and for the future.
Your lucky you have Sky M because the Audeo M and Bolero M don’t support HiPro, seems it’s just Naida, Sky and Virto support HiPro for now, who knows what in the future.
