Lyric and cookie bite loss - worth trying?

I have no experience with analog hearing aids. I’ve read that it was hard to fit them for mid frequency losses.

Would it be worthwhile to test Lyric with a cookie bite loss? I’m within the fitting range but above it at 4-8k. Does that alone mean it won’t work well?
