Lucid/Liberty Hearing aids

Just curious, I was in Sam’s and I see they have a hearing center like Costco but only sell Lucid/Liberty devices. The available tech levels are 128, 64 and 32. The cost is affordable premium tech is 128 and the cost is 4970.00 and that is with a 3 year warranty. My question is has anybody tried these hearing aids? And what are the thoughts about them?

I have no experience but I think most everybody here would say Costco is notably better. Costco’s aids are closer to what you’d get at mainstream hearing aid center and much better pricing ($1500-$1700 for a premium pair of hearing aids) If I were going to pay ~$5k for a pair of hearing aids, I’d want one of the big 5 brands.

I agree with @MDB that Costco is the place to go. They sell aids that are rebranded from Resound, Signa and Oticon. These are all the top technology level because that is the only level they sell. If you are willing to go the just under $5,000 check out ZipHearing. They sell aids through a network of local audiologists and probably have one or two in your area. Costco and Sam’s use licensed hearing aid specialists which is usually ok if you have a straight forward hearing loss, but if you have other hearing/ear issues I would suggest an audiologist.
