I’m seeking a hearing aid recommendation for my parent, who works in an office job that requires frequent online meetings. I’m looking to spend around £3k from somewhere like: https://www.wholesalehearing.co.uk
Id be asking if theres something in the ears themselves that is resulting in that significant difference between the Bone vs Air Conduction test results in the lower frequencies. Maybe speak to GP and/or ENT specialist to ensure that the hearing loss being treated is not being impacted by a physical issue.
Heres a good review of 2 of the leaders right now:
You might look at some of the videos posted here on the Hearing Tracker site–by Matthew Allsop, a London audiologist. He covers various brands and their features, plus/minus.
He makes a good alternative to the annoying Dr. Cliff.
I spend most of my working day on Teams and found that both Phonak Lumity and Sphere both worked well.
The Lumity were a little less useful in my open plan office (lots of people, hard surfaces, background noise) so I found I’d go off to meeting rooms for calls a little more often.
