Bluetooth connects my incoming calls directly to the hearing aids, rather than the phone speakers. So, how do I locate my phone if I misplace it?
Having someone call my phone obviously doesn’t work…
Is there an app that will prompt a loud “here I am!” sound to the phone speakers, while ignoring the BT connection to my hearing aids? Android Phone / Costco Hearing Aid.
FWIW.
I have a Pixel 6a and a Pixel 2 watch.
Use find my phone the watch it rings my phone speakers with my Starkey hearing aid in my ears.
I do the same thing with iPhone and apple watch.

Easiest way that I’ve found.
Hmm… that means I need to buy a smart watch. Is there a possible work-around? Maybe with an old Android phone that I have in the drawer, or my wife’s iPhone? I know, I’m reaching.
Ok. Off the wall here.
Stick an air tag on your phone.
Your wife’s phone should tell you where you’re is.

Amazon has a renewed Pixel 2 watch for 80.00.
In my case…
‘hey google find my phone’ from a Google Nest device
find my phone from a web browser on a Windows laptop
‘hey google’ turns on my phone’s display which usually helps me find it.
If all else fails, turn off your hearing aids before your wife calls your phone.

… or ‘hey google bluetooth off’ before getting someone to call your phone.
Success! My solution: Installed Google “Find Hub” (formerly Find my Phone) on my Android Tablet and paired it with my Android Phone. Works! Got the idea when reading about pairing with a watch. Thank you for the discussion!
