Hello new to hearing aids here
Trying to listen to music through be more app
Whatever i do music doesnt come through
Anybody else had this problem ?
You need to provide more information.
- What hearing aid are you using.
- What phone are you using.
- What app are you using.
I have danalogic GN hearing aids
My phone is a Samsung A15
The app is bemore
We don’t have that model here in the states. However, I would just try to connect your hearing aid to Bluetooth and use a dedicated music app. I wouldn’t try using the bemore app to listen to music.
If you have ripped music and loaded them on your phone, then try a music player app like VLC if it’s legal in the UK.
If are streaming, then download one of those music streaming apps that available in the UK. Here Spotify is a popular one.
I think Neville is located in the UK , so you might want to personal message that person with your issue if you still have problems.
Actually you do have them in USA, they are rebranded ReSound just like the Jabra/Beltone models.
@Neville is in Canada I believe.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen them mentioned here before. Anyhow, perhaps Neville is familiar with them or one of the UK folks can help, unless you have any other ideas.
Have you pair you HA with your phone . Does the bemore app find the HA?
Yes , they are paired
Yes.
I don’t fit a lot of GN devices, but try hooking them up through the accessibility menu in the phone settings. We’re talking ASHA streaming protocol I think.
Your Danalogic GN hearing aid may only support Mfi and ASHA for audio streaming.
So it requires a iPhone or a Android phone with ASHA that you can stream audio to the hearing aids.
The Samsung A15 does not support ASHA , so the hearing aids can connect via Bluetooth LE (BLE) to the app, and you only can change the hearing aids settings via the bemore app. (volume change, program change, etc…), but no audio streaming is possible, because of the lack of ASHA.
a Android Phone with ASHA support is needed that you can stream audio from Phone to Hearing aids. Or you could use/try a iPhone which is supporting Mfi
The phone must support the ASHA protocol , which is needed to stream audio over the Bluetooth LE connection to the hearing aids.
