Liberty SIE 64

Hi
My mother in law has a single Liberty SIE 64 HA (312 Battery). Sams Club. Is this HA DIY programmable? Can’t find anything about it DIY wise…
Thanks for any help

Ethan

Hi there, hey I haven’t heard of these before, one from Lucid? I haven’t seen anyone doing DIY on these, maybe someone else will come along to help you out.

Good luck

Hi
Thank you!

I do believe it as from Lucid…but have found almost nothing about them…so any help would be immensely appreciated. MIL is getting “on” in years…and it is hard to get her to a Sam’s Club for adjustment.

I see the manufacturer is “Hearing Lab Technology LLC”

I don’t think this is a candidate for DIY. Even if it was, it’s very old. So there’s that too.

Here are some of the first steps you need to execute in order to DIY fit a hearing aid. Though, I am not for sure-certain, I believe you will fail all three.

  • First check that your hearing aids are not locked
  • Step 1 – Install Fitting Software on a Windows computer FIRST
  • Step 2 - Purchase a hearing aid programming device

Hi pvc
Thank you…link was useful…if not informative…

Still a mystery…

If I get to Sam’s Club with MIL, I will sneak a peek at the fitting software…

Ethan

Just flat out ask the Audi, what software it is, and can you get a copy? After all, MIL paid for them so there should be no reason for Sam’s Club to be secretive. Also, watch for which programming device?

Judging from this accessory connection video, Probably Hi Pro and cables with flexstrips.

Hi pvc

Again, thank you…great advice.

MIL is 88…I really get tired of the endless parade of people and businesses that effectively take advantage of her. Cable, cell phone, banks, car insurance, HA provider, Health Care, rental place. It is endless. It can be a full time job just to help her pay for the same level of service as us “younger” folks…65…

Rant…

My best Audy (Costco…see my Jabra rant)…was older than me…I liked him.

I remind my kids that they too will be old some day…

Yeah, I get it. My healthcare insurance provides dental insurance with free cleaning!! Pretty good eh?

Well, not-so-good. In order to get you teeth cleaned you need to get the exam first, and then the exam turns up thousands of dollars of additional work you need first. I know it was made-up work on gums that I didn’t need because I was told so by a Periodontist as a second opinion.

So I don’t use my dental insurance and instead pay cash!
