Lexie B2 or other recommendatons

My father-in-law is in his 90’s and has hearing loss. He went to a doctor and they recommended he use hearing aids but they cost thousands of dollars (which he, or we, don’t have). We bought some Lexie B2 hearing aids for him and he says he thinks they have improved his hearing but he had trouble hearing in a group setting with people speaking.

Do you have alternate suggestions for him? Are the Lexie B2 units no good for him?

We could really use some advice. He is frustrated and we want to take care of him. We aren’t familiar with this topic and could use your help.

Let us know and thanks!

Mike

This is an issue with all hearing aids unfortunately.

Lexie B2 hearing aids are OTC Aids so won’t have that many adjustments compared to actual hearing aids.

Have you tried to adjust them via the App to make them better? @mmitsch

Audiogram? We are in the dark about whether those devices are in the right ballpark for treatment.
