Does anyone have any experience if the app has any geolocation limitations for hearing aid activation?
I’m from Europe, I would like to get them (I have a moderate loss and am able to communicate with people without hearing aids).
But I would like to know if there will be a problem with them when activating, similar to how the EKG service on the Apple watch couldn’t be activated on the first models outside the US.
I am in Australia and had to import the Sony from a US seller on ebay. No warranty of course.
The app on the google play store is geo locked so I had to download it from an apk website. Works fine.
I was able to download the Sony app from the US App Store by creating a separate US AppleID but you need a US payment method (CCard, Bank Account).
That’s what I was afraid of…
I am thinking to buy Signia pro IX or Sony CRE-E10. This is same product, but I afraid that streaming will not work on Pixel 8. But price sony is more than 2 x cheaper.
Have anybody experince with Android na d Airppod 2 with hearing aid option?
Looking at the Signia (UK) site, they say streaming to Android is possible but check the Pixel 8 supports the protocol. My Pro IX will stream from my iPhone but not my Apple Watch, whereas my Phonak ones will work with either device (I think it is the difference between MFI and classic Bluetooth connections).
