KS9 in 5th year with warranty

I would like to send my KS9s in for servicing, it’s about end of the 5 year warranty. How should I do it, my Costco rep isn’t sure. Just trying the Philips 9050s.
Thank you.

Phonak has ended their partnership with Costco, but they are still honouring warranty claims as far as I had heard. My KS9s came with a three year warranty. Are you sure yours are five year warranty?

Yes, had to do with using Costco Citi card and is noted on my paper work.

I had my ParadiseP90Rs and charger sent in at warranty end. All were replaced. The new Phonakswork much better. That was at 3 years.

It’s worth a try.

The Citicard warranty extension will reimburse you for repairs. I don’t know if it would work for routine servicing. Is there anything wrong with them? If Costco won’t send them to Phonak, you could contact somebody like Lloyds Hearing aids and see if they would check them out and then submit the claim to Citicard.

I had one of my ks9’s fail a few months back. Costco sent it in and it cost me $200. I would think your credit card would pay for that. Not sure if they would cover preventive maintenance. You should contact the card company. They will try to wriggle out of it I am sure.

On another note I was in Costco a month ago and had a routine cleaning. They replaced both receivers with the updated version. Don’t hear any difference but should be easier to change the wax guards.

I’ve had that issue. The 4.0 Receiver/wax guards was a deal breaker for me. So I am extremely happy that they made the 5.0 Receiver with excellent wax guards available.

Afew small problems but may be worth the gamble.
