The warranty on my aids expired in May of this year, so before that date I sent them in to Costco for service assuming the batteries would be replaced, which I think they probably were. Now the right side aid is discharging at a much faster rate than the left side. After 6 hours usage down to around 50%, leaving me having to give it a boost to see out the day. My question being, should there be any warranty on the replacement battery?
The R side is the master side so will discharge at a faster rate.
Have you been listening to more Bluetooth, taking more calls than usual?
Hopefully someone else can help you more.
Yes, there is usually small difference between right and left when discharging. Looking at the Easyline app after 6 hours use, left is 76% and right 52%. No calls or streaming.
I would definitely call Costco if you haven’t been streaming.
Tell them that you have not done any streaming because they’ll likely come up with my reason to battery life but that doesn’t mean anything to you.
I’d definitely talk to Costco. I might even schedule an appointment to discuss the issue. I don’t know what the options might be, but they want you to be happy with the product.
I have a appointment on Tuesday next week returning Philips 9050, will enquire then. I prefer my KS10’s, so hopefully something from Sonova will appear again in Costco this coming year.
I also got my Ks10 batteries replaced in may, but I had a much better experience. I used to have to charge them every afternoon for at least a half an hour or they would die before bedtime. I stream a lot and use the tv streamer every night. Since they replaced the batteries I can go almost 24 hours! Even when new I could only get 16 to 18 hours at the max. After 3 years they were at 10. Although I still put them in the charger when I take a shower.
