Kirkland 10.0 batteries

I have a pair of Kirkland 10.0 from Costco that they do not sell or service any more. I bought a new pair of another brand but I like the Kirkland 10.0 ones better. The batteries are finally getting weak and won’t last all day. Is there somewhere I can get the batteries replaced or is there a source for batteries so I can do it myself? I am pretty handy, even with small things…

Costco still replaced my KS10’s in July 2024 so they still serviced them under warranty

the problem is that the battery is soldered on the chip and soldered with plastic to make it even more difficult to change. They changed the batteries by replacing the entire hearing aid with a new one.

But in a thread someone wanted to replace the battery of old phonak hearing aids on their own. He showed how he had to tear the plastic and something else, I’m not sure what was in the end.

It’s not a problem to do it but it should be done by an experienced person and there is a risk that it won’t work in the end because something got damaged on the chip.

I also have hearing aids that do not have a warranty. Phonak and Unutron. I wear them both half the day. I have Unitron since 2021 and they still work well, the battery autonomy has not decreased significantly. If you can, wear it as well as I do.

Mine are not under warranty and I was told they do not service them any longer. I will check again! Thanks

Costco sent my KS9 in for repair. They are way out of warranty. It cost me $200. Hope it would be less for the battery.

Call or visit another Costco.

Good luck

Costco serviced my left a couple weeks ago for $135 and holds a charge like new. Took a week.
