Jabra Enhance v KS10?

I have the Kirkland Signature 10’s, rechargeable. I hate rechargeables, (see thread on are rechargables reliable). I’m upgrading to the Jabra Enhance Pro20 with battery but I loved the fader ability of the KS 10. It allowed you to choose the balance ( fade) between internal and external sound, IE, listening to a book while mowing the lawn was great!! 90% internal sound from the audio book and 10% sound from the mower.
I’ll miss that with the Jabra. They have a preset adjustment but not user adjustable.

The Jabra app has two sliders for volume – one for what’s streaming to your ears & one for surroundings.
Sounds like just what you’re after. I hope you like ‘em – I’ve been very pleased, tho’ the sound is “sharper” than KS10/Phonak.

My partner went from the KS10s to the Jabra EP 20s and prefers the sound. She told me she can hear a lot better. We both have them on Samsung Galaxy S23 and S24. We use the ASHA protocol which is stable buth you need the phone in your hand on calls. Sound does go to your HAs however. One UI 7 is supposed to fix the hands free issue with working LE Audio around the end of the year.

That isnt what i see in my app. Do you have the new Pro 20’s? My old Resound One’s, same as Jabra Pro have both sliders in the app, but my new 20’s use the phones volume for the streaming volume and then the one (and only) slider in the app controls outside volume. Just mentioning since it may depend on what model Jabra one has.

My apologies! I have the older Jabras – very surprised they took that away…

Yea, its not a good app update at all for the 20’s. Besides the phone streaming slider change it also places my TV Streamer at the bottom of the app in its own window, instead of being a separate program. It looks like someone gave up half way thru updating so really it comes across half ass, see pic

UGLY! Hopefully an app update is coming soon…

I called Jabra and they claimed this is an improvement. I wanted to find out if this hack job of an update is working as designed and that the layout was correct and they confirmed it was. I told them from a user standpoint, its a down grade and is counter intuitive, unlike prior. They didnt seem very interested in my point of view.

I should add that when iI pair my Resound One’s, the app looks as it did before, 2 sliders and TV Streamer/Micro Mic as a separate program, even though im using the same Jabra app. I csn do the same with the Resound app and my One’s have the old layout and the Jabra’s show the new layout

There’s always this explanation as to why you don’t need a streaming volume control in the HA app itself; your device provides a hardware/software streaming volume control that’s available everywhere, not just in your HA app:
